Export and import your data
Your data is yours. There’s no account of ours and no third-party analytics: what you add lives on your devices and in your own iCloud.
How do I export my data?
Export saves everyone’s medications and doses to a file, free whatever your plan. Importing a file adds what isn’t here yet, and never changes or removes anything already on your iPhone.
- In Settings, tap Privacy and data, then Export….
- Choose who’s included, then tap Export and save the file.
- To bring a file back in, tap Import… on the same screen and choose the file.
What the file holds
The export is a plain copy of the medications and doses of the people you choose. Keep it somewhere safe. People shared with you from another family are theirs to export.
Importing
An import adds what isn’t here yet and never changes or removes anything already on your iPhone. If someone in the file looks like a person already here, the app holds them until you check whether they’re the same person.
