When a reminder is missed
A notification is easy to miss. RxReminders lets you decide how persistent each person’s reminders are.
What happens if I miss a reminder?
Reminders can repeat until the dose is logged or a window you choose ends. You can also have a dose that’s still not logged when the window ends fill the screen the next time you open the app. There’s no streak or score to lose.
- On the person’s page, tap Details & sharing, then Reminders.
- Choose Until taken or For a set time, and how long the window lasts.
- When a missed dose fills the screen, tap Taken, or Skip or Snooze if it wasn’t given.
How persistent
- Once: one reminder when the dose is due.
- Until taken, the setting you start with: a reminder when the dose is due, then more until it’s logged or the window ends.
- For a set time: as Until taken, and if the window ends before the dose is logged, the dose fills the screen the next time you open the app.
A setting on a person covers all their medications; a medication can have its own.
The full-screen catch-up
It shows who the dose is for, which medication, and how late it is. You can record it, or skip or snooze it if it wasn’t given. For several doses, you can go through them one at a time. It carries no streak or score.
