Doses in Apple Reminders or Calendar

If you already live in Apple’s Reminders or Calendar, your doses can live there too.

Can my doses show in Apple Reminders or Calendar?

Yes. Choose a Reminders list or a calendar, and each dose is added to it and kept in step as schedules change. In a Reminders list, ticking off a dose’s reminder logs the dose.

  1. In Settings, tap Reminders & Calendar.
  2. Set Sync to Each dose, then tap Destination to pick a list or a calendar, and allow access when you’re asked.
  3. To log a dose, tick off its reminder in the Reminders app.

Kept in step

When a schedule changes, the items in your list or calendar change with it. A person can have their own list instead of the household’s.

Ticking off a dose

When each dose goes to a Reminders list, logging a dose in RxReminders ticks off its reminder, and ticking it off in Reminders logs the dose. A tick that goes over a daily limit is still recorded, and a notification says it’s over the limit.

Who can see the list

Medication names are added to the list or calendar. Anyone it’s shared with will see them.
