Build a schedule from the label
Prescription labels say things like “Take 1 tablet by mouth twice daily for 10 days” or “1 at bedtime for 7 days, then 1 in the morning and at bedtime”. Type the directions as printed, and the app builds the schedule from them.
Can the app build a schedule from the label’s directions?
Yes. Type the directions as they’re printed, and the app builds the schedule from them, asking about anything the label leaves open, such as when the first dose is. Where it can’t read the directions, it asks which choice is closest instead of guessing.
- When you add a medication, type the label’s directions exactly as printed.
- Answer the questions that follow, and tap That’s right when each one matches the label.
- Check the summary and the next doses, then tap Save, or Adjust to change something.
It asks rather than guesses
Where a label leaves something open, such as when the first dose is or which times of day, the app asks. Where it can’t read part of the directions, it offers the closest choices, or lets you set the schedule yourself.
Times that follow the person
“At bedtime” follows the person’s own bedtime, not a fixed clock time. Each person’s waking time and bedtime are in Details & sharing on their page.
Schedules the label can’t express
You can also build a schedule by hand: set times, every few hours, every few days, chosen weekdays, cycles, tapers in steps, as needed, and courses of a set length.
