Share a link

A school nurse, a babysitter or a co-parent on Android won’t install an app to confirm one dose. A link opens in any browser, on any phone, with no account.

While household sharing is in preview, its controls, Share a link and People with access among them, show only once you turn on Show sharing controls under Household sharing (preview) in Settings.

Before anything else, the page says who shared it, whose medications it shows and when it ends. A View link shows the schedule and what’s been given; a Confirm link also lets them record a dose.

A confirmed dose is a real dose

A dose confirmed on the link is logged under the name they type, counts toward daily limits like any other, and reaches your iPhone as a notification.

How long it lasts

A link lasts a day, a week, a month or until a date you choose. You can revoke it at any time from the person’s Details & sharing; it stops working the next time it’s opened, and doses already confirmed are kept. An expired or revoked link says so plainly.

Sharing a link needs the household subscription.
